Blues interested in bringing Aubameyang back to the Premier League
The Gabonese international is an attractive proposition for the London outfit due to his Premier League history, where he scored 68 goals in 128 games for London rivals Arsenal. The Blues have been interested in a move for Aubameyang over the last week when they realized the La Liga giants would be willing to sell him for the right price.

Romano reports that the 33-year-old would be happy to stay at the Camp Nou this season even after the signing of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich limited his regular game chances. But the prospect of linking up with his former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel is intriguing for the striker and may force him to make the move.
Aubameyang’s relationship with Thomas Tuchel is a key factor
Chelsea manager Tuchel still shares a very good relationship with the Gabon striker and this could be a key factor in the deal. Romano also adds that the German manager believes Aubameyang is “the perfect striker” for his system at Stamford Bridge and is pushing owner Todd Boehly to secure a deal for him.
However, Barcelona have yet to receive any official proposal from any club for the 33-year-old. The Blues are yet to make a final decision on whether to push for the striker and are still looking at whether he can be an ideal replacement for the departed duo of Werner and Lukaku.

The 33-year-old striker left Arsenal on sour terms at the start of the year but scored 13 goals in just 23 La Liga appearances for the side in the second half of last season. Aubameyang is a very experienced striker who was called “world class” by former Manchester United captain Gary Neville a few years ago. He has scored 310 club goals in his career, which is why Tuchel is likely to want to add him to lead his line this season.
